Josh and I were able to go back to Kennewick Washington. If you didn't know that is where Josh served his Mission. It was so much fun and we were able to see so many amazing people and places! (sorry I went a little Picture Happy)
Josh and Em in front of the Kennewick WA Temple! So beautiful
Christina and her Daughter Olivia, one of the nicest, strongest, and all around amazing women I have ever met! Love her and really admire her!
I saw this on one of our many walks and just loved it...
MT. HOOD
The Dalles Dam - One of the many along the way
Josh with some of his small town friends
Everywhere we drove there was more beauty! I loved it and couldn't stop taking pics
Yep so we are dorks, we went and took a tour of one of the Dams there! This is one of the 8 generators they use, its really quite amazing!
A Crane that fixes anything in the generators - It can hold up to 430 TON WOW!!!!
How the Generator works!
When I saw this I lost it! Because the dam is so big this is what they use to get around :) Highlight of the tour for sure, I really want one of those!
I was happy to hear the Dam cares about the Fishy's too! They are working hard everyday to make sure the fish can get through the dam! FYI Those were some big fish!
Hike #1 Beacon Rock : You go from below sea level to over 1,000 ft. in 20 minutes! O and did I mention you can see the bottom of the hike the whole way up!!!
But so worth it!
I really didn't want my picture taken, Too bad Josh had the camera!
Josh really wanted his picture taken!!!
Hike #2 : Ape Caves - A cave formed by hot Hot HOT Lava in the early 1900's! It is pitch black dark in there and is about 30 degrees! One of the best hikes ever!
Josh holding the Lantern, in the 100 degree weather outside of the cave!
Mt. St. Helens! This was the area that got the crap burned out of it in the 1980's! You can tell its still trying to re-grow!
Josh just loving the view!
This lake was amazing! We would love to come back and just wakeboard all day long! The water was perfect the whole time we were there!
"Don't fall in Josh"
This is kinda sad :( You can see on all the mountains all the damage that is caused by Logging!
Our Last night we decided to head over to Portland and enjoy some city life! The restaurant we ate at was amazing, Pastini! Yum Yum Yum
That was just one of the Hundreds of apartments in downtown portland, it really is crazy how many people must live in there...
LOL.... Just read what the paper says... LOL (next pic)
Need I say more...
Multnomah Falls! Its Huge!
One of the many tree farms we passed! There are thousands of acres of these, the camera can't do it justice! And those trees are grown for the sole purpose of making paper, so come on people lets really save the trees!!!
I wish we would have taken more pictures of the families we went to go visit but we would get talking too long and forget!
I am so grateful for what a wonderful husband I have. He was able to make such a difference! He has so many good friends up there who love him and think the world of him! It was a perfect trip filled with fun and happy memories! I couldn't ask for more!
